ISO 9001 – Quality Management System

ISO 9001 certificate – PLAST MAC

The ISO 9001 certificate confirms that PLAST MAC's quality management system is implemented and periodically audited by an independent certification body, and that the company operates under documented procedures that ensure consistent product quality from the receipt of raw materials through to delivery.

For the company, it provides an organized framework for controlling processes across injection, extrusion, molds, painting, plating, printing and assembly. It supports continual improvement, helps reduce rejects and waste, and enables performance to be measured through clear indicators that departments can be tracked against and held accountable for.

For customers, it is an assurance that the product they receive is produced under an approved control system and meets their specifications, and that any problem is recorded, analyzed and corrected so it does not recur. This certificate is also commonly required when major home appliance and automotive companies evaluate and approve their suppliers, which makes it a key to working with leading brands and strengthens their confidence in PLAST MAC's ability to deliver on time and at the required quality.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System

ISO 14001 certificate – PLAST MAC

The ISO 14001 certificate proves that PLAST MAC manages its environmental impact in a systematic way that is audited by an external body, rather than on an ad hoc basis. This matters particularly in a plant whose activities include injection, oven and water-curtain painting, and plating with its baths and chemicals, because these processes generate waste and emissions and consume energy and water that must be kept under control.

For the company, the certificate supports compliance with environmental legislation, helps avoid the risk of fines or shutdowns, and reduces waste and resource consumption, which in turn lowers costs. It also improves the company's image with regulators and the surrounding community.

For customers, it is evidence that the supplier is environmentally responsible, something global companies care about in their supply chains and review during supplier evaluations, alongside PLAST MAC's compliance with Code of Conduct (COC). This gives the customer a supplier that is operationally stable and less exposed to the legal and environmental problems that could disrupt supply.

ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System

ISO 45001 certificate – PLAST MAC

The ISO 45001 certificate attests that PLAST MAC applies a certified occupational health and safety management system aimed at preventing injuries and work-related illness and providing a safe working environment. The certificate is especially important in a plant with more than 300 employees that operates injection and extrusion machines, molds, and painting and plating processes, where sources of hazard range from hot and moving parts to chemicals and noise.

For the company, it requires risk assessment, preventive controls, employee training, and recording of accidents and near misses. This reduces injuries, lost days and related costs, raises morale and discipline, and supports legal compliance.

For customers, it reassures them that their supplier protects its workforce and that the production environment is stable and less prone to interruptions caused by accidents, which supports reliable supply and meets the social responsibility requirements that major companies place on their suppliers.

IATF 16949 – Quality Management System for the Automotive Industry

IATF 16949 certificate – PLAST MAC

IATF 16949 is the quality management standard for the automotive supply chain. It is built on ISO 9001 with additional requirements that focus on defect prevention, reducing variation and waste in processes, and controlling the supply chain.

For PLAST MAC, which started its business serving the automotive industry and whose client list includes brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, KIA, Hyundai, Chevrolet and General Motors, it is an essential requirement that major manufacturers often ask for before listing a supplier among their approved suppliers. The certificate obliges the company to apply advanced quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA, along with full product traceability and continual improvement, which raises production efficiency and reduces returns.

For customers, it removes a large part of the supplier assessment burden and gives them confidence that the plastic parts delivered are produced under a system, lowering the risk of defects that could stop vehicle assembly lines. It should also be noted that the certificate scope excludes clause 8.3, product design, because PLAST MAC manufactures to the customer's designs.
