The department has the ability to implement 2D designs onto a 3D product with the same color accuracy and specification required by the customer. The printing system is based on European technology, and it includes a wide range of machines: a 5-color tempo (pad) printing machine, a 4-color tempo machine and a mono-color tempo machine, two hot stamp printing machines, a silk screen printing machine, a laser marker machine, and two ultrasonic welding machines. Tempo printing can handle up to 5 colors, and it is widely used for control panels and appliance labels, such as the wording on washing machine fascia panels.
Hot stamping is used for badges and logos. Silk screen printing is used for flat marking. Heat transfer is used for decoration of curved products.
In 2024 a four-head OTR-4100 offline hot stamping machine was added to serve extrusion profiles, which extended the printing capability to long sections. Because printed parts can be injected, painted, plated and assembled in the same company, customers avoid moving components between suppliers. Multiple printing methods, accurate color control and European technology make the printing department a strong support for PLAST MAC's finished products.
