MacTech group is considered to be one of the largest industrial enterprises in Egypt and in the Middle East for plastic manufacturing. It is located in the 10th of Ramdan City at 10000 m2. The company was founded in 1980. the company goal was to reach the highest as well as the international standards.
MacTech Group manufactures the main plastic components for the international companies in different fields; Automotive, home appliances, electrical devices and others. Plast-Mac gained a trust from the international companies either inside or outside Egypt;, such as Suzuki, LADA, TOFAS, GME, Nasco ,Peugeot Egypt and others.
Home appliances company; such as IDEAL Sanussi, Electrostar, Kriazi, Toshiba get their main plastic components from Plast-Mac.
MacTech Group works with a capital up to 20 million US $ with annual sales power up to 8 million US$ and a material consumption rate 300 ton per month.
MacTech Group consists of three factories:
1- Injection molding factory
2-Moulds factory
3-Extrusion factory (plastic profiles)
1- Injection molding factory
Plast-Mac has injection machines from 50 up to 1300 ton Sanderatto make.
Plast-Mac has almost 1000 moulds and 30 injection machines. The injection production rate is up to 250 ton per month from different material types. The factory has also silk screen and hot –stamp printing capabilities.
Injection factory has teamwork of well trained engineers to fulfill the international requirements for its clients.
The R&D department is currently developing the products as well as the production lines to cope the latest international criteria.
2-Moulds factory
The factory sales capacity is up to 100.000US$ a month that is 120 moulds a year. The factory produces injection molding, blow molding, extrusion molding for plastics. However, sheet metal work molds is also produces in Plast-Mac. The factory contains design department that has 3 computers with VISI Cad/Cam systems. The designers are using flow mold software named Mold Flow. The factory has 2 circular saw, 4 millers, 1 drill, 2 CNC machines (Italian make) 2 spark machines, 2 wire cut machines Hitachi and Mitsubishi types. The factory makes mould from size 150 mm x 150 mm to 1,5 meter x 1 meter and from 80 kg weight up to 5 ton. Plast-Mac mold factory has Egyptians experts, Italian, and Turkish who are very well trained. The factory uses German steel made by BOHLER or Swedish made by ASSAB, other accessories are imported from Pedrotti Italy, that is to achieve the European quality with competitive costs.
3-Extrusion factory (plastic profiles)
PLast-Mac has 5 extrusion lines with a capacity up to 50 ton a month using Italian make such as Tecnova and Amod from a 20 mm diameter up to 70 mm.
Most of the profiles go to automotive industry and white goods.
